Pocono Old Tyme Farm Equipment Association Scholarship

The Pocono Old Tyme Farm Equipment Association is awarding two $500, non-renewable, scholarships to qualified high school seniors and current college students, pursuing post-secondary education at a two or four year institution or trade school, who reside in Carbon, Monroe, or Northampton Counties. Applicants must be able to explain how their post-secondary education plans and/or career ambitions meet the goals and mission of POTFEA. All applications and supporting materials are to be postmarked no later than April 1, 2008. The POTFEA Board of Directors will select scholarships winners. Winners will be chosen from qualified candidates. If no qualified candidates are present, the scholarship will not be given. In the event of many well-qualified applicants, POTFEA may request a personal interview from each candidate. Successful applicants will be notified of the judges’ decision in June. All judges’ decisions are final. Any questions on the scholarship or the application should be directed to Dawn Drake at 570-814-3265.
